Missouri Germans Consortium

Missouri Germans Consortium is very busy these days! We are happy to be partnering with the Missouri Humanities Council on their Heritage Tourism incentive of the German Heritage Corridor, identifying everything German in Missouri. We have spent the summer on a Road Trip inventorying and identifying, and have met some of the nicest people across the state! Discovered some places that turned out to have some very interesting German heritage!  Sometimes it was a small little part of town tucked away in a big city, and sometimes it was a nearly lost and forgotten settlement that played an important role in our state’s “German” history. We will be blogging a lot more about this exciting project soon!  More on our summer long Road Trip soon!
