The exhibit Utopia – Revisiting a German State in America was created by the international team known as the Traveling Summer Republic in Germany. It first opened on November 1, 2013 in Giessen, Germany, then traveled to Bremen, Germany, and then to the U.S. where it opened in Washington, D.C., and then concluded its tour in St. Louis, Missouri.
