Just as an emigrant prepares for their journey, the Tandem Guides from Bremen are undertaking a trip to a (once) forgotten Utopia. Nine teens are preparing and planning to follow the Giessen Emigration Society to St. Louis, Missouri, just as the exhibition Utopia-Revisiting a German State in America has done. The exhibit tells the story of 500 brave emigrants who arrived in 1834. Join us as we follow the expedition team – the students, as their leaders, Christiane, Dorothea, Maria and Nikolas help them prepare.
