The exhibit Utopia – Revisiting a German State in America opened November 1, 2013 in Giessen Germany. It was shown in Bremen Germany, Washington, D.C., and St. Louis Missouri. Finishing at the Missouri History Museum on April 19, 2015 it was visited by over 75,000 people worldwide.
From the Traveling Summer Republic Team in Bremen, The exhibition “Utopia” in Bremen is coming to an end. The exhibition can still be visited until July 4, afterwards all objects and stations will be stowed back in the container and be shipped abroad to its next station, the German-American Heritage Museum, Washington DC. On Friday, 4 July 2014 at 6 pm, we warmly invite to one of the last events: “BBQ with Joan Koechig on Independence Day” and to the open air TV projection of the soccer match Germany vs. France.
