New book on Missouri’s German Heritage

This coming fall Missouri Life magazine will publish a new book on the German heritage of Missouri. Featuring the GERMAN HERITAGE CORRIDOR of Missouri, a Missouri Humanities Council (MHC) initiative, this new publication highlights Missouri’s German culture and history along the Missouri River. Thousands of German immigrants moved to Missouri in several large groups in the 1830s, many settling along the Missouri River.
