This picture includes children and grandchildren of Friedrich “Far West” Muench (1799-1881) and Louise (Fritz) Muench (1812-1887), posed in front of their original log cabin home at Lake Creek in about 1887. A copy in the family scrapbook of great-granddaughter Lillian (Muench) Wencker (1896-1986) identifies them as follows, from left to right:
